ALL ABOUT ADVENTUREOLOGY

Adventureolgy is a small company working out of the Isle Of Man. We offer expeditions and skill courses in walking, climbing, canoeing and mountain biking, utilising locations in England, Scotland, Wales, and here on the Isle of Man.


We specialise in expeditions on land and over water with fully qualified and experienced instructors who are there to make sure that you get the most out of your adventure.

PAUL MELLING 

Paul has a passion for outdoor learning and has been working with young people and adults from all walks of life for over 35 years. He holds a degree in outdoor education and has a wealth of outdoor qualifications, including: British Canoeing Level 4 Paddlesports Coach and Leader, Mountain Leader, Mountain Bike Coach, RYA Senior Sailing Instructor and Powerboat Instructor, Archery Leader and Single Pitch Climbing Award. He is also a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Supervisor and Assessor and he has a passion for expeditioning of any kind. He strongly believes that the journey is more important than the destination, and that the skills we experience through adventure are transferable to everyday life. Paul's expeditions have taken him all over the world, and he has run expeditions from 2 to 21 days long.

JENNY LANTRY

Jenny has worked in the outdoor industry for over 15 years and has a broad range of experience. She holds  qualifications including British Canoeing Level 2 Sea Kayak and Open Canoe Moderate Water Coach and Leader, Mountain Leader, Archery Leader, Single Pitch Climbing Award, Powerboat Instructor and Mountain Bike Coach. Jenny is also a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Supervisor and Assessor. Jenny is a keen advocate for finding wilderness expeditions close to home and recharging your batteries through a connection with nature. She learned to swim in cold water lakes as a child and to this day loves a refreshing dip in cold waters, which is even better when it follows a day of paddling or hiking! Wild Camping is her happy place.

LUCY CONNORS 

Lucy has worked in the outdoor industry for 10 years, gaining qualifications such as British Canoeing Level 2 Coach, Single Pitch Climbing Award, Powerboat Instructor, Archery Leader, Mountain Bike Coach, Bushcraft Level 3, as well as Duke of Edinburgh Award Supervisor and Assessor. Lucy has recently completed a degree in Outdoor Leadership and Sports Coaching. Lucy enjoys being out in the hills, regardless of whether it is on her bike, walking or fell-running. She has expedition experience in Scotland, England, Wales and further afield.
