We include an essential element of training with every Expedition package, covering the Expedition Training Framework in a practical and accessible way.
We promise to help you understand and embrace the knowledge and skills required to successfully command your own expeditions.
Much emphasis is placed on building confidence in decision making, route planning, navigation, and dealing with unplanned incidents.
WALKING GOLD TRAINING, PRACTICE AND QUALIFIER
£650
We run our Open Gold DofE Practice Expedition over four days and three nights, which includes a planning and training day. So, if you want to complete the award and your friends aren’t up for it, or you or your group cannot make your unit dates. Then this is the ideal option.

Gold Qualifier (inc planning day) 13th - 17th July
There is a possibility that the Gold Qualifier could be an off-island expedition, if the group would like it and border restrictions allow. There would be additional cost for an off-island expedition.

GOLD RESIDENTIAL
BASED ON THE ISLE OF MAN
£250 per person
We will be undertaking an environmental and/or footpath maintenance project, as well as taking part in adventurous activities. All while cooking, working and living with other like minded individuals.
Our residentials are designed to bring individuals together to have a great time. Our aim is for you to leave with new friends, great memories and new skills.
This residential is 4 night and 5 days, staying in tented accommodation, with meals provided.

CANOE GOLD TRAINING, PRACTICE AND QUALIFIER
£650
Choose a different way to ‘journey’ for your expedition. Take the load off your feet and enjoy the countryside that the IOM and UK have to offer from a different view.
This consists of one day training followed by 3 night 4 day expedition run by our fully qualified coaches and DofE supervisors/assessors.

CYCLING GOLD TRAINING, PRACTICE AND QUALIFIER

If Bikes are your bag, then this is for you.
Be challenged by big climbs in wild terrain and on the road, and enjoying the thrill of the down hills.
You will need to have a bike in good working order and a helmet in good condition.
This consists of one day training followed by 3 night 4 day expedition run by our fully qualified coaches and DofE supervisors/assessors.
